My wife and I purchased our first home in Charlotte, which is outside of Chris's typical region. He worked diligently to understand the different market by collecting data from other realtors, checking expected due diligence amounts, and running extensive market reports. When we toured homes with him, he was an asset to have with us. He was not afraid to get his pants dirty and check the hard-to-reach places for big ticket items that may costs us in the long term. For example, Chris got into the crawl space on hands and knees in one home that we were leaning toward purchasing and he found foundation problems that could not be seen externally. His field knowledge came in handy by knowing the average pricing for structural engineers and foundation repair, which led to us realizing the house would be a money sink we weren't ready to commit. His background knowledge in construction truly made the difference and led to us purchasing our first home that we are thrilled to now own. We bought an older house that didn't have the curb appeal or updated kitchen because his foreknowledge helped us understand how we could transform the space to something we would love with a little work, while also saving money on the monthly mortgage. 6 months later, the space has been transformed to something we truly love, and we can attribute a lot of that to his ability to see the big picture and estimate how much it would cost and how to stay in budget. Chris exceeded our expectations and I would highly recommend him because most realtors are either not willing to get their hands dirty, or not fully aware of the cost and effort that it takes to undergo remodeling and general house upkeep. We're glad that we chose to work with Chris and would not work with a different realtor.

OMG! I can not express how committed Chris was to me with the process of selling my property in Chapel Hill. From the beginning he kept me abreast of what I needed to do to streamline the listing. We have been working with Chris for months in this crazy seller's market. He was so patient in getting exactly what we wanted. The problem was, we didn't even know what we wanted. He took us to many different areas that we asked for and each time we loss the contract. The seller's market was a nightmare. We knew of others with the same issues. I thought that Chris had given up, like I had - but we found the perfect home. We just had to rethink our plans and see what the market had to offer. Chis was patient, resourceful and completely on our side when negotiating. He even surprised us for adding things to the contract that we didn't think we could get. Even in a seller's market Chris was able to reduce asking price, which was incredible during this time. I wanted to make some changes and Chris reached out to those he knew to see if my changes were feasible. He was there at every step. I'm so happy with our purchase, I couldn't have asked for anything better. I'm very pleased with Chris's work and highly recommend him to my friends and family.
